- 1 1/2 futura disc integrated fork
- Columbus is happy to present a very special evolution of the famous Futura Disc carbon road-fork, specifically designed to host fully integrated internal cable-routing. The 1-1/2†tapered steere maintains a 1-1/8†cylindrical shape at the top, to perfectly interact with the majority of the internal-routing stems available on the market. Moreover, the contiguity of the internal volumes of its monocoque body allows the front brake-cable to directly reach the disc-caliper at the end of the blade. Finally, a further opening on the lower rear part of fork’s steerer guarantees the possibility to route toward the frame down-tube any additional mechanical and/or electronic cable for brakes and derailleurs. Braking performance is dramatically improved by the disc brake system: with the capability to accept up to 160mm rotors, Futura Disc ensures unbeatable performance, even in the most challenging weather conditions. The Futura's ultra-light monocoque carbon-fibre design, with its 1"1/2 oversized steerer, have been specifically reinforced to maximize stiffness and reliability during the braking phase, giving enhanced precision and performance to the riding-experience. Characteristics: * T700S & HFM Carbon Fibre Monocoque, Cabon dropouts with aluminium inserts * Carbon Dropouts with aluminium inserts * Finish: UD, Columbus painted * For Flat Mount Calipers - max 160mm rotor * Centre Lock AFS Fitment Only * Steerer: 1"1/8 top 1"1/2 Bottom * Axle to crown length: 368mm * Tyre clearance: up to 28mm * Internal cable routing * Crown dia: 56mm * Rake: 45mm * Axle standard: 12mm Thru Axle (included) * Weight: 440g (-/+10g)
